It's a sad day. Fess Parker, star of the Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone TV series in the 1950's died two days ago. I watched more than a few of those shows and much of my childhood imagination was fueled by Parker's Crockett.

My sister once calculated that she watched Day Crockett and the River Pirates 82 times. She was obsessed. Apparently my dad called her when he heard Fess Parker died.

Wow. This is why I should get off the internet before 1am. Was thinking this was Colin's blog, not yours, but I guess since you gave him the Scotch it was you sharing, just in a less direct way.
